EFM’s TV initiative to return for a second year with a documentary element.
The European Film Market (EFM), held during the Berlin International Film Festival, is to continue its Drama Series Days following its first edition in February.
Set to be held Feb 15-16, the Drama Series Days will include a panel programme, market screenings and networking events in a bid to offer further opportunities to strengthen connections within the rapidly developing network of the European and international television industries, in cooperation with partners such as Film- und Medienstiftung NRW and the Series Mania Co-production Forum in Paris.
New in 2016, high-quality documentary series will be introduced as part of the screenings and events programme, which will cater to the growing interest and attendance of documentary industry representatives at the EFM’s Meet the Docs platform.
The Berlinale Co-Production Market will again present around six hand-picked international drama series projects looking for co-producers and financial backers.
And Berlinale Talents – the annual summit and networking platform of the Berlinale - will again join the Drama Series Days, hosting a range of talks and discussions with acclaimed drama series experts.
The initiative is open to creators, buyers, sales agents, producers, commissioning editors and financial backers of high-quality drama to meet and present new serial content.
