Beta Cinema will be having five market premieres at next week's European Film Market in Berlin, including Luigi Falorni's Competition film Heart of Fire (Feuerherz) which Senator will release in Germany this summer.
The other titles having their first outing to an international market are:
Irish filmmaker Marian Quinn's debut feature, the coming-of-age tale 32A which has its world premiere in the Generation 14plus competition
Vanessa Jopp's bittersweet comedy of manners Messy Christmas which earnt lead actress Martina Gedeck the Bavarian Film Award in the Best Actress category this month
Martin Walz's 'melodic' romantic comedy Maerzmelodie, with Alexandra Neldel and Jan Henrik Stahlberg, which X Verleih will be releasing in German cinemas on the Berlinale's opening day, February 7.
and
Veit Helmer's modern fairytale Absurdistan which had its world premiere in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition at last week's Sundance Film Festival.
In addition, Beta will rounding up sales on the last remaining territories for Sergei Bodrov's Oscar-nominated epic Mongol.
