The 55th BFI London Film Festival will take place from October 12-27.

Last year’s event hosted 201 features and 112 shorts from 68 countries including 67 world, international and European premieres.

There were 530 screenings and 529 participating filmmakers, drawing the highest ever audience attendance of approximately 132,000, according to festival organisers.

Hit screenings from the 2010 event included Black Swan (pictured), The King’s Speech, 127 Hours and Another Year.
