Spanish media group Admira Media, filial of telecoms giant Telefonica, has appointed Luis Blasco the new president of holding Antena 3 Television.
Blasco, a former CEO of Radio Espana, will also act as vice president of Admira under president Luis Abril, who replaced Juan Jose Nieto in January.
Jose Antonio Sanchez, a local newspaper and radio journalist, was named assistant to the president of Admira.
At Antena 3 Blasco replaces Enrique Alvarez, who the company says resigned for "strictly personal motives" and will remain on the administrative boards of Antena 3, Admira and Telefonica Moviles.
