Bleiberg Entertainment has picked up international rights to writer-director David Lee Miller’s 2009 Crystal Bear winner My Suicide.
The LA-based company will launch sales at the EFM next week one year after the film was named best feature in the Generation 14plus strand.
Joe Mantegna, the late David Carradine and Nora Dunn also star and Harold Ramis and Interscope Records’ Jimmy Iovine served as executive producers.
Bleiberg’s senior vice-president of worldwide sales Roman Kopelevich brokered the deal with WME Global’s Liesl Copland.
“This is an amazingly creative project,” Bleiberg’s head of acquisitions Nicholas Donnermeyer said. “It is a true original and we are incredibly excited about working with David Lee Miller, Mariel Hemingway and the crew at Archie Films.”
