Celluloid Dreams has lockedmultiple sales on Christopher Boe's Venice Directors Fortnight screener Allegro.
Celluloid managing directorCharlotte Mickie confirmed the following sales: Ladyfilm for Italy, AudioVisual for Greece, Bir Film for Turkey, Budapest for Hungary, Tantra forPoland, Maywin for Russia and the Baltic states, and Alfa for Argentina andChile.
The second feature from theacclaimed Danish writer-director is a romantic drama with a sci-fi twist. Thestory, co-written with stand-up comic Mikael Wulff, follows a world famouspianist who returns home for a concert in Copenhagen, only to be confrontedwith his past and the choices in life which cut him off from love.
Ulrich Thomsen, HenningMoritzen and fashion icon Helena Christensen star. The $2.6m film was producedby AlphaVille Pictures Copenhagen, the new production company formed by Boe andpartner Tine Grew Pfeiffer.
Among many awards, Boe's2003 debut Reconstruction won theCamera d'Or at Cannes.
