Universal'sthriller sequel The Bourne Supremacy is on the cusp of passing $100m and has grossed $99.1m through UIP todate. The final territory of Japan will open on Feb 5 2005.
Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reasonadded an estimated $4m through UIP on 2,260 screens in 21 territories at theweekend for a $153.6m international running total.
The figure does not include results from 21 additional UIP territories andFrance, where the picture is distributed through Mars and has amassed $8.9m. Bridget has taken at least $162.4m through all distributorsinternationally.
Highlights were South Korea, where a strong $1.6m third weekend hold on 150screens for $7.3m made the picture Universal's eighth biggest release ever. Itcurrently ranks second in the territory.
Latest figures from the UK, where theatres were closed on Christmas Day, put Bridgeton $63.9m after seven weekends. Thepicture ranks ninth in the territory.
The Phantom Of The Opera, whichUIP acquired for Australia, New Zealand and Latin America, grossed an estimated$392,966 on 196 screens, including previews.
German comedy smash Seven Dwarfsraised its running total in Germany to $46m and has amassed $53.8m fromGermany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
