Warner Bros Pictures International’s space thriller had reached $39.4m by Thursday (October 10) and is expected to cross $50m by the end of the weekend with 10 new markets set to open.

Sony Pictures Releasing International executives reported that 2 Guns stands at $23.8m from SPRI markets, Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 $11.8m, Elysium $180.5m from SPRI markets, Grown Ups 2 $107.2m, Insidious: Chapter 2 $18.4m from SPRI markets, The Smurfs 2 $263.7m excluding Japan and White House Down $128.3m.

Lionsgate International licensees open Prisoners in France and Germany over the session and the kidnapping thriller has grossed more than $14.1m. Riddick on more than $48m arrives in Brazil.
