The Disney-Pixar hit became on Tuesday the eighth consecutive Pixar film to reach the milestone and its 11th overall.
The current $510.1m worldwide running total for Inside Out through July 22 is a relatively young tally given that the film has opened in approximately 61% of international markets.
Debuts this weekend in the UK, Germany and Italy are expected to build substantially on the $198.6m international running total.
Meanwhile $311.5m positions Inside Out as Pixar’s third biggest North American release behind 2010’s Toy Story 3 on $415m and Finding Nemo on $380.8m in 2003.
The film debuted in the US and Canada on June 19 on $90.4m to score the biggest opening for an original property.
