Spectre led box office for all films distributed via Sony Pictures Releasing International last year.

The James Bond film took $661.8m in the calendar year, of which $582.2m came from Sony markets and the $79.6m balance through MGM licensees.

Hotel Transylvania 2 ranked as SPRI’s second biggest hit of the year on $291.6m.

Local-language highlights include Shinjuku Swan on $10.6m, Ahora O Nunca (Now Or Never) on $9.5m and Batalion on $7.3m.
