Deal negotiated during Cannes.
Breaking Glass Pictures has acquired all North American rights to Dead in France, the UK dark comedy from Delacheroy Films.
The deal was negotiated during Cannes between Breaking Glass CEO Rich Wolff and writer/producer/star Brian Levine of Delacheroy Films. Breaking Glass plans a fourth-quarter home video release.
“Dead in France was a no-brainer. It pays homage to one of my favorite genres and I’m excited to bring it across the pond for release,” Wolff said.
The black-and-white film is about a socially challenged hitman living in Cannes who chases conmen across the Cote d’Azur.
“We’re absolutely delighted with the enthusiasm of everyone on the team at Breaking Glass,” commented Levine. “The next few months are going to be very exciting”.
The film has also been sold to the UK, France, Benelux and Israel.
