Brian Robertson has resigned as CEO of the UK’s Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF), effective as of June 30.

Robertson joined the charity in October 2009.

The CTBF said: “The Trustees thank Brian for his hard work, notable achievements and indefatigable approach and wish him well in his future career.

Robertson said: “Coming up to my three year anniversary, I reviewed my position and performance as CEO. I have achieved huge adnvances in the results of the charity, its corporate structure, management ability and reputation.”

He previously worked for fifteen years as Chief Financial Officer at Sony Pictures’ UK operations in the UK and Europe.

The CTBF offers practical and financial assistance to film and TV industry veterans.
