Two local films have dominated the nominations for the 20thNorwegian film and TV awards, the Amandas, which will be handed out during theHaugesund Film Festival on Aug 27.
Hans Petter Moland's international refugee drama BeautifulCountry and Morten Tyldum's romantic comedy Buddy receivednominations for best film and best script, and Buddy's Anders BaasmoChristensen was also tipped as best actor. Lars Göran Pettersson's Bázowas the dark horse and third film to make the running for best film. It also secureda best actress nomination for Anita Suikkari.
