Sales agent The Match Factory has concluded a raft of deals on Semih Kaplanoglu’s Honey (Bal), which became the second Turkish film in the Berlinale’s history to win the Golden Bear last weekend.
So far, the film has been sold to France (Bodega), Spain (Golem), Benelux (along with the previous films in the trilogy Egg and Milk to Filmmuseum), Scandinavia (NonStop Entertainment), Austria (Stadtkino Wien), Switzerland (Trigon), Poland (AP Manana), former Yugoslavia (Discovery), Greece (Ama Films), Portugal (Atalanta) and Iran (Farabi).
Many other territories like Germany, Italy, USA, and Brazil are in talks or already under negotiation.
