Showbox has clinched a slew of deals headed up by Kim Ki-duk's Dream, selling to Film Sans Frontiers for France, California Filmes for Brazil, Spentzos for Greece, CP Digital for Russia, Golden Scene for Hong Kong, and Lietuvos Kinas for the Baltics.

The film stars top Japanese actor Joe Odagiri as a man who dreams of Korean actress Lee Na-young's character acts out as she sleepwalks.

'It's a very poetic, beautiful, and sad film that has the potential to appeal to a larger audience than the usual Kim Ki-duk film,' said Judy Ahn, head of sales at Showbox.

The company also pre-sold action comedy Dachimawa Lee, directed by Ryoo Seung-wan whose Crying Fist was previously at Cannes, to Wild Side for France and Splendid for Germany.

Horror thriller The Guard Post directed by Kong Su-chang (R-Point), has sold to I-on New Media for Germany, Rialto for Australia, and Ram Entertainment for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
