Titles include five world premieres.

The 34th Cairo International Film Festival (Nov 30 – Dec 9) has selected 16 features for the international competition section of the festival.

The slate includes five world premieres: Who Am I (dir. Kim Shipenko), Sauvage (dir. Jean-Francois Amiguet), Humiliation (dir. Catalin Apostol), The Hostage Of Illusions (dir. Eliseo Sobiela) and Lust (dir. Khaled El Hagar).

The international jury is presided over by Mexican director Arturo Ripstein.
