Spanish sales agency Latido has sold Juan Jose Campanella’s The Secret In Their Eyes to Filmware International for Taiwan and is in advanced negotiations for Japan, Germany and Switzerland.

The film, nominated for a foreign-language Oscar, has now been sold in more than 30 territories including the UK (Metrodome), France (Pretty Pictures) and Australia (Rialto). Sony Pictures Classics is releasing it in the US.

Latido has also sold the adapt-ation of Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s Of Love And Other Demons, which will be directed by Costa Rica’s Hilda Hidalgo, to Japan (Only Hearts).

Here in Berlin, Latido is also representing Widows On Thursdays by Marcelo Pineyro, as well as Miguel Albaladejo’s romcom Born To Suffer (Nacidas Para Sufri), which is screening in Panorama.
