Lisa Loven Kongsli, Sophie Cookson and Peter Franzen have joined Bel Powley, Jonah Hauer-King and Martin Wallstrom in Marius Markevicius’ Stalin era drama.

Sam Hazeldine, James Cosmo, Adrian Schiller and Tom Sweet are the other new additions to Ashes In The Snow, which Radiant Films International president and CEO Mimi Steinbauer has introduced to Croisette buyers.

Production is underway on the tale of a 16-year-old with a gift for drawing who gives hope to all around her after she is separated from her family.

The project is based on Ruta Sepetys’ novel Between Shades Of Gray and the true-life story of Siberia camp survivor Irena Spakauskiene. Ben York Jones adapted the screenplay.
