EXCLUSIVE: Mikael Marcimain’s polticial thriller stars Pernilla August.

Early in the market, Scandinavian powerhouse TrustNordisk has secured an eye-catching deal on its drama Call Girl, which has been acquired by Pretty Pictures for French distribution.

The political thriller starring Pernilla August is directed by Mikael Marcimain.

French distributor Pretty Pictures has previously worked with TrustNordisk on Perfect Sense and is also the French distributor of current Cannes Competition title The Hunt.

“The subject of Call Girl is great fun and the period is definitely one to be revisited!” says Pretty Pictures president James Velaise. “We are delighted to be working with Mikael Marcimain and the team at TrustNordisk once again.”

The film is produced by Mimmi Spång from Garagefilm International.
