Shrihari Sathe’s directorial debut was produced by Infinitum Productions.
Infinitum Productions has wrapped principal photography on 1000 Rupee Note (Ek Hazarachi Note), the directorial debut of New York and Mumbai-based producer Shrihari Sathe [pictured].
Written by Shrikant Bojewar, the film is set in a small village in Maharashtra, India and revolves around a poor old woman whose uneventful life is shattered when she receives a few one thousand rupee notes from a politician. The cast includes Usha Naik, Sandeep Pathak, Ganesh Yadav and Shrikant Yadav.
Infinitum also recently produced US drama It Felt Like Love, directed by Eliza Hittman, which screened at Sundance and is handled internationally by Visit Films. KMBO Films acquired French rights to the film.
Infinitum is also co-producing Partho Sen-Gupta’s Sunrise, which starts shooting at the end of May in India with Adil Hussain and Tannishtha Chatterjee heading the cast. Sathe is also working with Palestinian filmmaker Bassam Jarbawi on drama Solitaire King.
