Cannes renews partnership with Christie

The Cannes Film Festival has renewed its partnership with digital projection specialists Christie for a further three years.

Christie has provided Cannes with digital projection equipment since 2006.

Christie provides 2K and 4K projectors in more than 20 auditoria during the festival.

“The Cannes CST, the body responsible for projection’s technical aspects at the Cannes festival, is delighted to be working with Christie. The partnership between Christie and the festival helps us guarantee an outstanding quality of projection,” said Pierre William Glenn, chairman of the CST (Supervisory Technical Committee for Sound and Image).

Pascal Gervais, manager of Christie France, commented: “This renewed three-year technical partnership with the Cannes festival confirms Christie’s high reputation in the film industry and – because of the demanding qualification process deployed by the CST – proves our commitment to offering nothing but the best in terms of image for one of film’s most prestigious events.”
