Hayden Christensen is one of several partners on board the new production company Glacier Films, which launches with an 11-film slate led by American Heist.

Production will commence on Jun 18 on the remake of the 1959 Steve McQueen film St Louis Bank Robbery.

Sarik Andreasyan will direct Christensen in the story of brothers who get involved in a heist. Paradigm represents the project.

Glacier is backed by Russian company Renovatio and plans over the next three years to produce six films in the $10m range and five budgeted up to $1.5m.

The venture’s partners are Andreasyan, Christensen, Tove Christensen, Gevond Andreasyan and Georgy Malkov.

The first microbudget project to go is Lady Of Csejte, a historical horror fantasy based on life of the murderous 16th century Countess Bathory
