The feature has just completed shooting in Los Angeles
The Match Factory is handling sales on Miranda July’s new film The Future, which has just finished shooting in Los Angeles.
Starring Miranda July and Hamish Linklater, it tells the story of 30-something couple Sophie and Jason, whose relationship is jeopardised because of the dream-like state of their life together.
The Future is produced by Gina Kwon (US), and Gerhard Meixner and Roman Paul of Razor Film (Germany) in co-operation with Film4 (UK). North American rights are repped by UTA, while French distribution rights were already picked up by Haut et Court. This is July’s second feature film after 2005’s Me And You And Everyone We Know.
