The Cannes Film Festival has announced the Shorts Competition for 2011.

There are nine films from nine countries.

They are:

Ce N’est Rien, dir. Nicolas Roy (Canada)

Paternal Womb, dir. Megumi Tazaki (Japan)

Cross, dir. Maryna Vroda (France)

Michel Gondry will head the short film Palme d’Or jury.

At the Short Film Corner, there are more than 1,900 films registered.
