Veteran LA producer Arnold Rifkin and his Cheyenne Enterprises have joined forces with London-based film finance and international sales house, Intandem Films on two films, Clever and Your Perfect Angel. 

Clever is a $12m UK-set thriller about two students who are caught up in a web of sex, murder and lies. Jim Gillespie (I Know What You Did Last Summer) wrote the screenplay and will direct the film. Rifkin is producing with Angus Lamont’s Crab Apple Films.

Meanwhile Rifkin is teaming up with Bill Mechanic’s Pandemonium Films on Donald Petrie’s romantic comedy Your Perfect Angel. The $25m title follows a soon to be married couple who don’t know each other as well as they thought.

Both films are scheduled to start shooting in October.
