EXCLUSIVE: Soda takes on one title from Cannes Competition and one from Un Certain Regard.

UK distributor Soda Pictures has picked up two more films at Cannes.

The company has acquired the UK and Irish rights on Lisandro Alonso’s Jauja starring Viggo Mortensen, which played in Un Certain Regard. The deal was negotiated between Soda MD Eve Gabereau and NDM’s Fiorella Moretti.

Soda has also picked up Naomi Kawase’s Competition title Still The Water. The deal was done by Gabereau and MK2’s Fionnuala Jameson.
