The distributor has picked up worldwide rights to The House That Jack Built and Five Good Years.
Los Angeles-based Synergetic Distribution has acquired worldwide distribution rights to a pair of films from FourTwoFive, including thriller The House That Jack Built starring Gail O’Grady and Joe Mantegna (pictured).
Bruce Reisman directed the story of a man who defies a promise to his late father when he remodels the family home as a party house, bringing the devil’s wrath down on the housewarming party.
Synergetic has also acquired Five Good Years, which is scheduled to begin shooting in Atlanta in August. Synergetic will release in the US.
Reisman is directing from a screenplay he wrote with Kris Black about a Southern coal miner forced into the boxing ring to save his mother’s life. Further cast will be announced shortly.
