EXCLUSIVE: Cargo Entertainment sales head Mark Lindsay and his team will kick off international nsales at the AFM on the thriller Lost In The Sun starring Josh Duhamel.
Trey Nelson will direct from his screenplay about a small-time crook who kidnaps a teenage orphan and develops a powerful bond with the youngster as they embark on a string of robberies.
Production on Lost In The Sun is set to begin in February 2014 in Texas.
Clay Floren and Aimee Shieh of Floren Shieh Productions will produce with Clay Pecorin of Two Ton Films. ICM represents domestic sales.
“At its core, the film is a celebration of the outlaw lifestyle,” said Nelson. “It’s about living on the borders of right and wrong. It’s about avoiding a domesticated and safe life. And like my childhood drives across Texas, it’s about escape.”
“We are thrilled to be working with Trey Nelson and Josh Duhamel on this project,” said Cargo Entertainment CEO Marina Grasic. “This action packed thriller will attract audiences worldwide”.
