First timefeature writer-director David Evans has started principal photography on Daddy's Girl, a psychological thriller.
The film started shooting inand around Cardiff, Wales on March 27.
Boda and Carnaby Internationalare co-producing, with Carnaby also handlinginternational sales.
Daddy's Girlis co-financed by Carnaby and the Arts Council of Wales,which developed the script with Film Four.
Nerys Lloyd is the lead producer, with Trudy Sargent co-producing for Carnaby.
The cast includes Jaime Winstone, daughter of Ray and current star of controversialUK feature Kidulthood.Richard Harrington from BBC's Bleak Houseand Louise Delamere, from Bullet Boy, also star.
Former Catatonia guitarist OwenPowell is composing the film's score. John Richards, who worked on Band of Brothers, will be editing.
