The key drivers for 2014 so far have been Frozen and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The former stands at $729.3m and just overtook Ice Age 4 to rank as the biggest animation of all time at the international box office. Frozen also ranks as the sixth biggest global release in history.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier has amassed $385.1m following a $35.3m weekend haul.
