Green takes over from Cameron Saunders, who was promoted last year.
Chris Green has been appointed theatrical marketing director for Twentieth Century Fox’s UK theatrical division.
Green has been promoted internally, having previously held the position of marketing controller in Fox’s London office for the last 3 years, where his campaigns have included The Simpsons Movie and Gulliver’s Travels.
He will be responsible for developing marketing campaigns for the UK releases of all of Fox’s theatrical product, which will include in the first half of 2011 Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class, Francis Lawrence’s Water For Elephants starring Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson, and Fox’s new animated feature Rio.
He takes over from Cameron Saunders, who was promoted to managing director of Fox’s UK theatrical division in December last year.
Saunders described Green as a “talented marketer with an outstanding track record of continually delivering high impact integrated marketing campaigns characterised by flair and originality.”
