Cine-Asia, the DVD distributor, has signed a UK distribution deal with Dragon Dynasty, the Asian cinema brand owned by The Weinstein Company (TWC).
The deal will see Cine-Asia, which is owned by Showbox Media Group, will distribute a number of classic movies and major recent Asian productions on DVD in the UK. Fist Of Legend, a tribute to Bruce Lee’s Fist Of Fury starring Jet Li, will be the first title released under the agreement. Other films to be released include Tai Chi Master, starring Michell Yeoh, and The Legend, directed by Corey Yuen-kwai.
All of the releases will be digitally restored special editions featuring original language tracks with English subtitles and a range of bonus material.
The new films to be released are Benny Chan’s Invisible Target, which combines martial arts, gunplay and free-running; Robin-B-Hood (pictured), which stars Jackie Chan in a quest to save a special baby from a brutal crime syndicate, and Wilson Yip’s Kill Zone.

Cine-Asia is owned by the team that pioneered the growth of Asian cinema in the UK more than ten years ago through the Hong King Legends and Premier Asia Labels.
