Italian English-language project is about a deadly paintball game.
Toronto-based Cinemavault has acquired worldwide rights to Italy’s English-language paintball thriller, At the End of the Day, a first feature by Cosimo Alemà, known for music videos.
A paintball game turns deadly when three deranged ex-soldiers come unhinged during a game of catch and release with their unsuspecting victims, leading to a bloody manhunt where everyone is a target.
Cinemavault’s vp acquisitions, Craig Morrow, negotiated the deal with producer Fulvio Compagnucci (The Mob Productions), who said in a release that the deal was a good match because “they share the same excitement as we do for the film.”
Bolero will release the film theatrically in Italy in the new year; no release date is set for Canada yet.
