Odeon-UCI owned Cinesa sign commercial agreement with Canal+ to offer customers exclusive on demand film and TV.
Odeon UCI cinemas has announced that Cinesa (Compañía de Iniciativas y Espectáculos, S.A.) has signed a commerical agreement with Canal+.
The deal will see Cinesa offer customers exclusive on demand film and TV series online through YOMVI, the new digital service offered by Canal+ which gives users three options to view VOD content online: Subscription, a monthly flat fee for unlimited content; Taquilla, a pay-per-view offering; and Live TV.
From Nov 15, Cinesa customers will have access to YOMVI’s catalogue of over 2,000 films from all major distributors, independent directors and the latest Spanish releases.

With this new agreement, the company continues broadening its horizons as well as that of the future of cinema in Spain”.
Subscription packages start at €7.95 + VAT a month, with no contract commitment and a one month free trial. Cinesa users will be able to access YOMVI through a PC or laptop connected to the Internet, with the service eventually available via other devices.
