Entertainmentfinancing and production company Contagious Entertainment has launched in LosAngeles with a deal to co-produce and co-finance at least three featureprojects a year in association with Bob Yari and the Yari Film Group.
The commerciallyoriented titles will be budgeted from $2m-$6m and will be available for domesticand international release.
Founded by LosAngeles-based industry veteran Joey Horvitz and New York-based venturecapitalist Ted Liebowitz, Contagious is backed by private funds and plans towork in features, television, print launches, music and wireless technology.
Horvitz willoversee day-to-today operations of the company and the development of productfrom concept to release.
The company ispreparing to unveil a slate of projects and will take them into productionshortly after that.
