Content Film has closed adeal with VCL/Warner for German rights to its new family adventure, $25 millionMee-Shee The Water Giant. Thedeal was the first major territory closed on the film, which features specialeffects from Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

Deals with Senafor Iceland, Lusomundo for Portugal, WEG India for India, Intersonic for Czechand Slovak Republics and Hungary, Programs4Media for Romania, Pyramid forRussia, Europa Filmes in Brazil, Cinematografica Blancica in Venezuela, VivaEntertainment for the Philippines, and Jiant Pictures for Thailand have alsojust been closed.

The Film SalesCompany, handling North America rights on the film, has closed an all rightsdeal with Equinoxe Films in Canada which also anticipates a theatrical releaseby the 3rd quarter 2006.

US buyers arereportedly closing in on Mee-Shee which screens at the AFM on Monday.

Mee-Shee, directed by John Henderson (Loch Ness), is set in a remote part of Canada. Here, kids goin search of the local monster and eventually come face to face with Mee-Shee.They have to save the lovable beast from evil villains who want to spirit itaway from its home lake.
