As part of the recent merger of the Copenhagen International Film Festival and NATFilm, the CIFF festival for Children and Youth, entitled Buster, has been moved back to September.
In recent years, the festival had moved to March to make the most of festival resources, but the changed landscape in Danish festivals means it will return to September.
'Finding a new time for the festival turned out to be a bigger task than we had imagined, as the cinemas are filled with premieres of films for children and youth in March,' said festival director Fusun Eriksen. 'Furthermore our faithful audiences in the schools have always been able to rely on Buster's September dates, so I am very happy to invite everyone to Buster in the autumn of 2008'.
Exact dates are yet to be confirmed for the 2008 Buster event.
