Acclaimed Hungarian director Istvan Szabo will be presidingover the competition jury at the second Copenhagen International Film Festival,which unfolds in the Danish capital between Aug 19-29.
The 66-year old filmmaker (Being Julia) is joined by Scottish director David Mackenzie (YoungAdam), US-Israeli director Eytan Fox (WalkOn Water) and Romanian actress MaiaMorgenstern (The Passion Of The Christ) as well as the popular local actress turned filmmaker Paprika Steen,whose directing debut Aftermathcompetes in Karlovy Vary this week.
The Copenhagen festival has yet to announce its competitionprogram, but already promises a trimmer more focused event than lastyear's debut with just 100 films screened over 10 days.
The festival opens with the premiere of Walter Salles'Motorcycle Diaries.
