The UK's Bird's Eye View Festival, devoted to women's film-making, will feature the UK premiere of Aida Begic's Snow, which won theCannes 2008 Critics' Week Grand Prize for Best Film.
The event will run from March 5 to March 13 2009 at London film venues including the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) and BFI Southbank.
The 2009 festival programme will focus on the theme of female desire and will showcase a collection of films starring seductive women from Ava Gardner in The Killers, to Faye Dunaway in Chinatown among others.
The Festival will also showcase documentaries and short film programmes from UK and International female directors.
The Birds Eye View's Innovation programme will focus on the impact and use of new technologies in film and Fashion in Film will return with collaborations from directors & fashion designers.
