New programme has budget of €120,000 per year.
The Croatian Audiovisual Centre, Friuli Venezia Giulia Audiovisual Fund and Slovenian Film Centre have pacted to launch a new co-production initiative, Regional Audiovisual Cooperation and Training (RE-ACT), in cooperation with the TorinoFilmLab.
The transregional programme, which has an annual budget of €120,000, will aim to foster international co-productions.
RE-ACT will have two strands: a co-development funding scheme for feature-length films (fiction, documentary, animation and experimental), and a series of training programme taking place alongside Torino’s Framework workshop (for at least the next three years).
The three funds have worked together more informally in the past, including joint funding for several co-productions.
More details will be unveiled Monday at the Venice Film Market.
