Crush Films’ Gordon Bijelonic and Michael Matthias reported they have acquired a minority stake in Randall Emmett and George Furla’s Emmett/Furla Films (EFF).

EFF, who have produced more than 55 films in the past ten years, has a development deal with Nu Image, covering such projects as the upcoming Conan remake, 16 Blocks, and Righteous Kill.

Matthias worked in investment banking and together with Bijelonic recently produced the $6m horror film The Bleeding, in which he starred alongside Vinnie Jones and DMX.

Bijelonic worked alongside Vin Diesel for 15 years and co-produced Diesel’s first feature Strays.
