The board of the Danish Film Institute has appointed JoergenRamskov as its new manager for production and development. He will beresponsible for the DFI department charged with spending Euros 16.5m on backingDanish film.
Ramskov replaces Lars Feilberg who resigned earlier thisyear.
Atrained journalist, the 47 year-old Ramskov has worked for the DanishBroadcasting Corporation (DR) for 18 years, first as a journalist, then head ofseveral departments including the documentary division and most recently the TVdepartment.
Henning Camre, managing director of the DFI, said: "JoergenRamskov will bring new perspectives and experiences to the Film Institute."
