LA and Toronto-based Darius Films has commenced production on the dark comedy A Beginner’s Guide To Endings with Dennis Hopper, JK Simmons and Scott Caan.

Jonathan Sobol wrote the screenplay and makes his feature directorial debut on the tale of three brothers who set off to reverse a lifetime of mistakes when they learn they only have a few days to live.

Darius Films’ principal Nicholas Tabarrok, riding high on the sale at Toronto of US and most international rights on Defendor to Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group, also announced the start of production this month on Sara Lohman’s comedy Welcome Back Satan.
