UK distributor Delanic Films continues to build its release slate by adding Spread starring Ashton Kutcher.
David McKenzie's erotic comedy has been acquired for the UK and Ireland from Voltage Pictures. The story is about a womanising conman in LA who meets a female hustler.
Spread is still in post and is earmarked for a spring 2009 release.
Nicolas Chartier, president of Voltage Pictures said: 'We are extremely happy to be in business with Delanic Films. They have demonstrated a real understanding of the film's commercial prospects and I am sure will do a fantastic job'.
Delanic also announced a deal last week for Julian Fellowes' From Time To Time.
Delanic Films managing director Joe Simpson, added: 'We are delighted to announce the acquisition of these two films which complement our existing forthcoming slate of high-profile, commercial movies.'
