Kill Bill Vol.1 stayed on top for another week despite its 34% drop from its opening weekend, and it kept newcomer Oliver Ussing's low-budget romantic comedy Rule Nr.1 from the top spot. The new local film didn't quite perform as distributor Sandrew Metronome had hoped based on their high 52 print release, though it received some favorable reviews.
However, the new US releases Down With Love and The Lizzie McGuire Movie faired a lot worse. Intolerable Cruelty remained steady on third, with the local children's film Brats dropping another 35% to fourth.
The local crime comedy Stealing Rembrandt for the first time in its nine weeks on release moved out of the top 10, but has already scooped a solid 273,323 admissions.
