By clinging to its strong screen average and falling back just 3%, Something's Gotta Give moved into the top spot in its second week as Brother Bear dropped 25%.
The new release of Cold Mountain just managed to edge in on fourth with its 25 prints, while 21 Grams' low eight prints had the same screen average but opened on 12th. Genre flicks The Butterfly Effect and Timeline opened 14th and 16th respectively.
In its sixth week, Annette K. Olesen's In Your Hands this week pass the 113,419 admissions which her feature debut Minor Mishaps had in 2002. Clint Eastwood's Mystic River might have dropped to 13th position after 13 weeks on release, but this week stalled and dropped just 5%, and that was before it secured two Oscars.
