Disney Media Distribution has signed a multi-year film and TV licensing agreement with NetMovies Entertainment, Brazil’s largest online subscription service.
Walt Disney Company titles that will be available to users of NetMovies include the first three Pirates of the Caribbean films, Wild Hogs, Desperate Housewives, Criminal Minds and Brothers and Sisters. Content will be made available in NetMovies’ SVOD service, which delivers content in the form of DVD or Blu-Ray discs as well as by streaming across a variety of internet connected devices.
Daniel Topel, NetMovies founder and CEO, said the deal “solidifies our stance as the market leader in Brazil and reinforces our dedication to bring our customers the best entertainment in the fastest windows possible.
