Aktis Film International has taken on films by two New German Cinema veterans for this year’s European Film Market.

Market screenings are being lined up for Rudolf Thome’s latest feature, the comedy The Red Room (Das Rote Zimmer), which had its world premiere at last autumn’s Viennale.

In addition, Aktis Film’s Stelios Ziannis will be handling the re-issue of Percy Adlon’s documentary Koenig’s Sphere about the monumental fountain sculpture “The Sphere” which is the only work of art in or around the World Trade Center to have miraculously survived the inferno of September 11, 2001.
