Stephen Elliott’s directorial debut premiered at Berlin last month and will receive its North American premiere at the San Francisco International Film Festival on Apr 24.

Ashley Hinshaw, Dev Patel, Heather Graham, and James Franco star in the story about a troubled young woman who goes to San Francisco and works in the porn industry.

Jordan Kessler and Elizabeth Destro produced in association with Enderby Entertainment, Elana Krausz, Gordon Bijelonic/Datari Turner Films and Kink.com. IFC negotiated the deal for Cherry with ICM.

  • WWE Studios and Anchor Bay Films have struck a deal to partner on the US release of action thriller The Day. WWE secured rights from Preferred Content after the world premiere in Toronto last year.
