President of international distribution Elias Axume and the team will commence sales on Joe Maggio’s The Last Rites Of Joe May starring Dennis Farina as a hustler on the road to redemption.

Jamie Anne Allman, Ian Barford and Meredith Droeger also star in the film, which premiered at Tribeca earlier this year.

“This is such a terrific picture and a welcome addition to our growing library of films available to international markets,” Tonantzin Esparza, Maya’s director of acquisitions, said. “Dennis Farina has never been better.” 

Stephanie Striegel and Bill Straus produced in association with the film arm of Chicago’s renowned Steppenwolf Theatre. Striegel and Straus negotiated with Esparza.
